# Vana Labs public information interfaces

## When to use

Use these interfaces to read Vana Labs company facts, products, website packages, delivered-work reference prices and public contact routes, or to prepare a free website check. They do not submit enquiries, execute client workflows or start scans.

## Read-only REST API

GET https://vanalabs.co/api/public/v1/profile returns company facts. GET https://vanalabs.co/api/public/v1/services returns offerings. GET https://vanalabs.co/api/public/v1/resources returns discovery links. No credentials are required.

[OpenAPI](https://vanalabs.co/openapi.json) defines every response. Errors use application/problem+json with type, title, status, code, detail and resolution. The public interfaces allow 20 requests per client IP per 60 seconds and advertise RateLimit-Policy. A 429 includes Retry-After: 60. Do not retry immediately.

Stable REST paths use /api/public/v1. Additive fields may appear in v1; breaking changes require a new major path. There is no scheduled deprecation or sunset.

## MCP and A2A

Connect an MCP Streamable HTTP client to https://vanalabs.co/mcp. Tools and resources are read-only. POST JSON-RPC initialize, then tools/list, tools/call or resources/list. Notifications receive 202; GET event streaming is not provided and returns 405.

Send a JSON-RPC message/send request with a data part containing a tool name and arguments, or a text question to retrieve the public profile, offerings and resources. Responses are immediate public information; no tasks are queued.

## Browser tools and readable pages

Supporting browsers can use registered WebMCP tools to read the same public information. Request Accept: text/markdown on any public page for its readable version. Discovery links appear in HTTP Link headers and the [AI catalog](https://vanalabs.co/.well-known/ai-catalog.json).
